Design for Disaster, Seismic Speculations

Deconstruct

Deconstruct offers a visual translation of the psychological impacts of traumatic events. This work specifically investigates the existential tension that resides between the desire to have control and the feeling of helplessness that arises when disaster strikes. As a metaphor for this condition, Deconstruct is equally applicable to natural disasters such as earthquakes, man-made disasters such as climate change, and internal crisis of the mind.
